Instrument Proficiency Checks (IPC)
FAR 61.57 (d) requires that a pilot complete an Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) if that person does not meet the instrument experience requirements of 61.57 (c). The IPC must be in an aircraft that is appropriate to the aircraft category and must be performed by a CFII. The requirements of an IPC are dictated by the Practical Test Standard (PTS). Please consult a PTS or contact your Delmarva Aviation flight instructor for the precise requirements of an IPC.
